Prestonfield Primary School, Edinburgh

Comprehensive repairs were carried out to Prestonfield Primary School. During the works the school was occupied and all operations had to be carried out to prevent disruption to the daily activities of the functioning school. The works generally comprised of the complete stripping and retiling of all roof surfaces in Rosemary tiles complete with all battens and underslating felt, renewal of all lead flashings, replacement of bituminous flat roofing felt, replacement of all existing cast iron rainwater goods. Isolated works were carried out to the repointing of the elevations where required and isolated timber renewals.
