Greyfriars Charteris Centre, Edinburgh
Greyfriars Charteris Centre has had extensive work carried out in various phases and phase one is complete with ongoing phases still in progress. The works carried out at the centre to date comprise of the complete stripping and reslating of the main slated slopes in Green Vermont slates, extensive lead replacement was carried out to all slopes including the incorporation of a solar panel system installed during our works by the client. All stonework elevations/chimneys were inspected and remedial repointing works were carried out where required as well as localised stone repairs and Lithomex repairs as instructed. Roof safety anchors were installed. All cast iron rain water goods were overhauled/repaired where required and all external painter work caried out on completion. Currently phase two works are being carried out to the tower.
